QuarterDeck is one of the hardest working bands in country music. They are still number 1 in the NorthWest RN Charts for two years and going strong. QuarterDeck has been on sabbatical from stage life but they are back ready for action. They are ready to share their new music with their devoted fans and perhaps catch some new listeners along the way.
Elly the lead vocalist and song writer, born and raised in the Northwest, she was brought up by a mother of the Ozarks in Arkansas and has a long lineage of mountain folk who groomed their children to have a deep love and appreciation for the sound of a pedal steel, fiddle, banjo and songs that told the stories of life.
Therefore, her first and foremost love has always been Country, having it so clearly running through her veins. Growing up with her 4 sisters, it seemed natural to have a family of country performers; after all, her mother had started her career at a tender age of 8, performing in the streets with her brother and sister to raise money for military bonds.
Elly had already established her writing ability at an early age, having become a published short story author, poet and song writer during her high school years and beyond. Her goal is to write the words that will move the hearts and soul of those listening or reading.
Adam Fleck , the Guitarist and vocalist was born and raised in Oregon, is the youngest member of the band but with his unique style of guitar playing you soon find an” old soul” within him. His experience is vast and shows itself with a crowd pleasing performance at every concert.
Ben Bond, His outstanding performances and experience, whether on acoustic or electric guitar, can rival that of the worlds best. You will lose yourself in his amazing solos.
John Pounds , who hails from Louisiana, has played with the likes of Elton John, Rod Stewart, Reba McEntire and Hooty and the Blowfish. With his amazing seven string bass, he plays with the heart and soul that can only depict a true musician.
Tim Crosby , a native of Colorado, is one of the Nations top bluegrass fiddle, banjo, and mandolin players. He was one of the top five nominees for the 2008 RMA Bluegrass Songwriter of the Year . He has shared the stage with some of musics greatest such as Bill Monroe, Riders in the Sky, David Grisman Quintet, Kevin Burke and Rose Maddox.
Mountain Spring Records is looking for 10 GREAT country dancers to join the QuarterDeck Dance Team to perform with one of the hottest up-coming bands, QuarterDeck. Age or gender is not an issue, attitude and physical condition is. Couples and line dancing experience a must. Clogging/east and west coast swings a bonus. The top 10 performers will be chosen as the QuarterDeck troop and will perform before and during their concerts on the Northwest I-5 corridor. The top 5 will be given the opportunity to tour with QuarterDeck outside the NW I-5 corridor.

For those who pass the preliminaries, the final auditions will be held on Saturday, February 19th at the Silver Spurs in Salem, Or. where you will be given an opportunity to learn choreographed dances to original music and a chance to become a QuarterDeck Dancer.
